other's Day!! Now, I would have posted this before today; however, I did not want to risk my mom seeing her card! For Mother's Day I made these lovely tulip flower cards. They are quick and easy to make! Also, a shout out to all those BPI mothers, you guys always encourage us and never fail to stand up for your kids!
First, start with an outline for the tulip, which you can get here: http://spoonful.com/crafts/mothers-day-tulip-card
Next, use any kind of paper you want, and trace the outline.
If you want to decorate it even further, take another colored paper, trace out another tulip and paste it onto your original tulip on the inside for more color.
You will then, with the flower facing down like in the outline, fold the petals inside.

Write a message inside and then your done! If you want you can create a stem for the tulip with leaves, or you can seal it with a ribbon!
Simply, with any tool, (I used a toothpick) poke two holes into both the outer flower petals ( close to each other). Do this In the same spot, that way when you fold the sides, the holes are right over each other.
Then it gets tricky! With my toothpick again I pushed the ribbon through the holes. Start with the back petal so that the ribbon ends are on top. Then push those through the BACK of the top petal and tie a bow!
I hope you guys like these cards, my Mom loved it, and so did my Nonna!
